Cambodia Day 13

Today was the longest day of the trip, it started with a 4:40 am wake up call. We left at 5 to go and see sunrise over Angkor Wat. The down side to that was that the clouds were out so the sunrise wasen't very good. Oh well it was still cool to be there. We left and ate breakfast before we would go back in to go inside the real thing. We steped in to see a big buda statue. Everywhere on the walls is carved with such detail, it was crazy. The walls told storys and everything was perfect. All they used to make it were their little wooden and rock tools. Some of the designs repeat perfectly and they didn't have a stencil, I now see why this was a wonder of the world.

We toured all of ankorwat and most of the temples and went to the third level where the holyest prople would worship, the whole thing is amazing. After that we left to see angkor thom, another amazing temple there are four faces on each point, one facing west, one east, one south, one north, and there are hundreds of them it's really cool.

Then we went to see the final temple,  Tompoot, which is uniqe by how the trees and temples interlock. There are trees 200 feet tall that have their roots going in and out of the rock and completely grabing the temple. This is where Angelina Joliey filmede her movie Tomb Raider. This place is crazy.

After looking at everything we went back to the hotel, packed up and drove five hours straight to the airport, hoped on the flight to Korea, Mission complete! Thank you everyone!
